Area Trails
Q: Do I have to be a member to ride the trails?
A: No, you do not have to be a member of our club. All trails are open to the general public. Our club works with the US Forest Service, Minnesota DNR, St. Louis County, cities and townships and private property owners to provide the trail network for all riders.

But we'd love to have you as a member! We are responsible for the 90-mile Tomahawk Trail from Ely to the North Shore and have agreements in place to groom the portages that make lake riding so much fun! We build the bridges, clear the downed trees, and put up the signage that makes snowmobile riding in Ely fun! Membership dues help support the trails and we're always looking for new members who want to be involved with the sport.
